F授業の目的   This course deals with the latest developments in the Japanese Travel Industry.

Students will be introduced to various topics as well as a number of precedents and characteristics that occur in the Japanese Outbound (Overseas Travel Industry: Related Industries & Marketing) and Inbound(Domestic Tourism in Japan for Overseas Visitors: Related Industries & Marketing)Travel Industries. The principal focus will be on Japanese Travel Agencies, and the Airline and hotels Industries etc. I would highly recommend this course to students who have an interest in Travel Industry. Moreover, I will be discussing the promotion methods of VJC (Visit Japan Campaign by the Japanese Government).

G受講にあたっての留意事項  90分、全て英語。私のBroken Englishで聞きづらいと思いますが我慢のほどを。しかし、下手ながらも、30年以上、国際トラベルビジネスで生活し英語交渉などをやってきました。「国際旅行ビジネス理解」&「ツーリズム専門英語修得」の二兎を追う授業はややきついですが、楽しく。「旅行業務事例(国際トラベルビジネス概論)」を履修済みが望ましい。なお、試験も論文式英語。

H教科書(授業で常時使用する分)No set texts. The lecturer will supply all class handouts.

I参考書

J成績評価の方法  Evaluation will mostly be based on a final written examination(70 %), although class
attendance  (30 %) will also be taken into due consideration.
