About Forum

May 26–27, 2009 in Khabarovsk city the Khabarovsky krai Government under the patronage of Federal Agency for Tourism and Russian Union of Tourism Industry are organizing VI International Forum of Northeast Asian Tourism (IFNAT) under the motto “Enhancing cultural, business and economic linkages in North-East Asia by taking the initiative in tourism sector”.

May 26 (Tuesday)

House of Official Receptions of the Khabarovsky krai Government at 3A Shevchenko St .
9.00	Registration of Forum Participants
9.30	Opening of the Forum Welcome address of the Khabarovsky krai Governor, representatives of foreign states
10.00 – 12.30	Plenary session Presentations will be devoted to strategic initiatives in expanding and promoting tourism in North-Eastern Asia, in development of trans-border exchanges between NEA partners, in opening new tourist routes and utilizing modern information technologies and also to initiatives as to transport infrastructure prospects
12.30 – 14.00	Lunch
14.00 – 15.30	Plenary session
17.00 – 18.00	Press conference
19.00	Reception on behalf of Khabarovsky krai Government

May 27 (Wednesday)

9.00	Departure of Japanese delegation and Russian Participants from Intourist Hotel to Zaimka suburban tourist center
10.00 – 13.00	Russian-Japanese Business Mission: “Partnership in tourism sector as a factor of promoting cooperation between Russia and Japan”.
10.00 – 13.00	Forum Participants from the Korean Republic, Mongolia and the PRC will go on a tour (excursion program)
13.30 – 14.30	Lunch (all Forum Participants)
14.30 - 16.00	Folk ritual show “Colors of Dersu Land”
16.30 – 19.30	Advertisement tour of the Amur river for all Forum Participants (entertainment and excursion)
